Data collected
Registration form: first name, last name, email address, phone, company or organisation, job title, sector, country, profile type, LinkedIn profile (optional), how you heard about MEB and an optional free message.
Contact form: name, email address, organisation (optional), subject and message.
Technical data: an irreversible hash of the IP address and the user agent, kept solely to limit abuse. The IP address is never stored in clear text.
Purposes and legal basis
Registration data is processed to review the request to attend, organise the welcoming of participants and communicate practical information about the event.
The legal basis is your explicit consent, collected when the form is submitted. This consent is time-stamped and linked to the version of the text accepted (current version: 2026-09-1).
No data is used for commercial prospecting, nor transferred or sold to third parties.
Recipients
Data is accessible only to authorised members of the MEB team, through a back office protected by authentication.
Transactional emails are delivered by the provider Resend. Data is hosted on a server located in the European Union.
Retention period
Registration data is kept for 24 months after the event, then deleted.
Messages received via the contact form are kept for as long as necessary to handle the request, and no longer than twelve months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to A_FOURNIR : responsable du traitement or use the contact form. You will receive a response within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to the back office is protected by authentication and a strict separation of roles.
Registration data is never exposed on the public side: the site architecture makes it technically impossible to read from public pages.
